The Natural Science team, and some teachers from other subjects interest in astronomy, attend a workshop about the use of telescopes.
We applied some physics and math concepts, learned about solar spots, geographical and magnetic North and found connections with different subject in order to create integrated projects.
The Science department will continue with these workshops in order to continue preparing and innovating to share new knowledge and skills with students.
The Natural Sciences area and some teachers from other areas took a telescope handling workshop. They applied physical and mathematical concepts, and also learned about sunspots, magnetic and geographic north, and found connections for the creation of future integrative projects with different subjects.
The Science area will continue to promote this type of meetings to continue preparing and innovating in class.
