I’m sure you’ve heard of Coronavirus. I’m sure you’ve probably heard/read/shared information about it. One of the biggest advantages we have when we use the world wide web, is the ability to share information in a matter of seconds. So how can we filter it? How can we validate the information we are consuming regarding a topic (currently the coronavirus)?
Media Literacy is a competence we infuse in our students, but we should also learn as parents and adults how to better consume media. We invite you to discuss fake news with your children at home by using this lesson plan and discover ways in which we can spot fake news before making decisions, such as sharing fake news and spreading misinformation.
