During the last month, the Model United Nations of the Colegio Andino DESMUN was held. Five high school students attended on behalf of our School: Valerie Cardoso 10th, Alejandro Alcalá 10th, Camilo Páez 10th, Pablo De León 11th and Natalia López 11th, who had an outstanding participation, demonstrating their knowledge and the development of useful skills for the life as: leadership, empathic listening, being systemic when thinking and acting, solving real problems and optimally informed.

As a consequence of his work, Alejandro Alcalá received Mention as Distinguished Delegate in the Historical Council Committee. I would also like to mention that Natalia López and Pablo De León did an excellent job leading and accompanying this Rochesterian team and that Camilo Páez and Valerie Cardoso had an excellent participation, standing out in their creation of alliances. From the Social Sciences Area we want to value the participation of our students in external academic events, where the commitment of our students to understand the real world is demonstrated and to contribute from a systemic and legal perspective, their assessments on current discussion topics.
