Teaching Prekindergarten Students About Renewable Energy, Movement and Sound

11th and 12th grade students participated in Green Apple Day of Service as tutors for their peers. Their goal was to encourage students to explore and make observations about different forms of renewable energy, movement, sound, and energy. The final product was a visual aid comparing the different types of renewable energy: solar, hydro, and wind, and a rubber band guitar made from recycled materials. Students had fun, learned, and share their findings.

Tenth and eleventh grade students participated in the Green Apple Day of Service, our day to serve the environment. Their goal was to encourage other students to explore and make observations about different forms of renewable energy and to teach preschoolers about motion, sound and energy. The final product was a visual aid comparing the different types of renewable energy: solar, hydro and wind. The students had fun, learned and shared their findings.
