Showing Logical-Mathematical Skills

Our Pre-K students have learned to solve math problems using different methods such as number bonds, ten frames, number lines, finger counting, link cubes and other concrete material.

On Pi day, Math Show and Tell, students introduced parents, peers and teachers ways to count and relate numerical quantities from 1 – 10.

-PK A, used buttons to count and relate numerical quantities from 1-10.

-PK B, used number line to count up to the number 10.

-PK C used 10 frames, rods, dice and link cubes to count to the number 10.

In addition to showing their logical-mathematical skills, they were able to strengthen leadership and cooperation skills.

En el día de Pi day, Show and Tell de Matemáticas, los estudiantes le presentaron a los padres, compañeros y profesores distintas maneras de contar y relacionar cantidades numéricas del 1 – 10.

-Pregardin C use 10 frame, strips, dice and linking cubes to count to the number 10.
