Pedagogical Trips – October 2022

On Thursday, October 20, we started the pedagogical trips for Lower Primary.

Third Grade Students

Third Grade students had their first two-day camp in Guatativa.

The children strengthened their teamwork skills and environmental abilities. During the camp, they set up their tents, went on a walk focused on the proper management of natural resources, and, learned strategies to reduce their carbon footprint. They got to know the town of Guatavita with a fun scavenger hunt and learned about the culture, geography, and characteristics of the region.

Second grade students had their first two-day camp in Guatativa.

They got to know the town of Guatavita with a fun observation race and learned about the culture, geography and characteristics of the region.

Second Grade Students

Second Grade students had the opportunity to visit Matarredonda Park, where they learned about the “El Verjón” moorland ecosystem, and its importance for the water supply in Bogotá. The children went on walks where they carried out indigenous activities. It was an excellent opportunity to connect the curriculum with real-life situations.

First Grade students went on an outing to Multiparque BIma, with the aim of working on integration activities taking into account the virtues of the school.

The children played challenging games in basic teams, strengthened their gross motor skills, and had fun visiting the farm.

The Transition students went on an outing to the BIma Multipark, with the objective of working on integration activities taking into account the school's virtues.
