As Kindergarten teachers we are always planning activities that are fun for our students, especially for Math class.
In preschool our students need concrete material that help them acquire logical-mathematical skills for problem solving. Therefore, we created different activities like constructing with rods, making patterns with geometry figures and solving addition problems within 10 using number bonds, ten frame and number line.
During this activity students demonstrated the ability to work together and follow instructions. As self evaluation, they shared what they liked about the activity, what basic need they satisfied and mentioned what they could do better next time.

¡Las matemáticas son divertidas!
Como docentes de Jardín siempre estamos planeando actividades que sean divertidas para nuestros estudiantes, especialmente para la clase de Matemáticas.
En preescolar nuestros estudiantes necesitan material concreto que los ayude a adquirir habilidades de pensamiento lógico-matemático para resolver problemas. Por eso, creamos diferentes actividades como construir con regletas, hacer patrones con figuras geométricas, y resolver problemas de suma hasta 10 utilizando enlaces números, 10 frame y línea de números.
Durante esta actividad los estudiantes demostraron la capacidad de trabajar juntos y seguir instrucciones. Como autoevaluación, compartieron lo que les gustó de la actividad, qué necesidad básica satisficieron y mencionaron que podrían hacer mejor la próxima vez.
