Last Monday, November 2nd, we had the privilege of announcing to our community the launch of the INSPIRA Artistic Center. Despite not having the possibility to offer our families the gift of a live event as we usually do every year, we had the honor of opening our virtual doors with an online musical theater concert. This experience was offered by INCANTO LÃRICO, a group of 100% Colombian singers under the musical direction of David Garzón, who delighted our audience with 10 pieces from renowned songs of different musicals such as Les Miserables, Moana, The Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Aspects of Love and The Greatest Showman. Many thanks to the families who connected and wrote beautiful things to the singers! The INSPIRA Artistic Center is committed to providing kindness and service to our community by offering entertainment, joy, and a space for family time. We are convinced that art has the power to transform, illuminate, educate, inspire and motivate, as Harvey Fierstein says. Get ready for our next surprise on November 29th, when we will stream Óleo de una Mujer con Sombrero, our school’s 60th anniversary show, presented in May of last year! In times of pandemic and confinement, art helps us feel better!
