This year, the sports club had the opportunity to stand out in all sports, both in Uncoli and Asocoldep, with the final stages taking place between the week of May 16 and 25 for basketball and soccer. During this time the most exciting moments of the tournaments were experienced.
On May 17, the mixed pre-infantile basketball team participated in the final of the Uncoli tournament against the CNG, becoming champions, highlighting their discipline and courage in the sporting encounter.
On May 23, the male youth basketball team participated in the final of the Uncoli tournament against CNG, becoming runners-up.
On May 24, the senior men’s basketball team participated in the final of the Asocoldep tournament against Los Pinos school, finishing as runners-up, showing their strength and unity as a team.
We highlight the work of teachers Freyser Mena and Luis Romero, achieving multiple successes in the nascent career of these great athletes.
On May 25, the senior men’s soccer team made our hearts vibrate in the final of the Asocoldep tournament, winning 1-0. We highlight the hard work of coach William Machado.
The volleyball teams reached the quarter-finals, having an impeccable performance during the tournament leaving us with great expectations for next year.
The Swimming Team of Club Deportivo Rochester participated in the, II Festival Departamental de Escuelas y Semilleros de Natación y I Campeonato de Piscina Corta, finishing in 4th place out of 19 participating clubs.
We ended this year with great sporting successes, looking forward to the arrival of the next competitions and thus continue building a sports-loving community. Proud to represent the school and keep the impeccable name of Rochester School high.
