El deporte no solo es una fuente de salud y entretenimiento, sino también una poderosa herramienta para transmitir valores fundamentales como el trabajo en equipo, la disciplina y el respeto. En el Colegio Rochester, estos principios no solo se viven en las aulas, sino también en la cancha, y el equipo de fútbol de papás es un claro ejemplo de ello.

Cada partido es más que un encuentro deportivo; es un compromiso con la comunidad y un homenaje a los colores y el escudo que sus hijos llevan con orgullo en su uniforme. Francisco Rodríguez, Jorge Grajales, Miguel Arturo Silva y Jesús Alberto Barrios, cuatro de los jugadores que forman parte de este equipo, comparten su experiencia y lo que significa representar al Colegio Rochester.

"Jugar para el Rochester tiene un valor agregado porque estoy representando los colores y el escudo que mi hijo lleva en su uniforme todos los días. Eso me hace muy feliz", afirma Francisco Rodríguez.

Más allá de la competencia, lo que une a estos padres es la pasión por el deporte y el deseo de enseñar a sus hijos el verdadero significado del trabajo en equipo. "Ningún jugador es mejor que el colectivo, ningún jugador es mejor que el trabajo de los 11 jugadores en la cancha", recalcan, destacando la importancia de la colaboración y el esfuerzo compartido.

Desde el equipo de fútbol de papás del Rochester, la invitación es clara: apoyar a sus hijos en cada entrenamiento y en cada partido, motivándolos a encontrar en el deporte una herramienta de crecimiento personal y formación integral. "Independientemente del deporte que elijan, acompáñenlos en los entrenamientos, en los partidos. El deporte aleja a los niños de todo lo malo que pueda haber en esta vida".

Hoy reconocemos a este equipo no solo por sus logros en la cancha, sino por su compromiso con los valores Rochester y por ser un ejemplo vivo de lo que significa jugar con el corazón, con pasión y con honor.

"Playing for Rochester has an added value because I am representing the colors and the shield that my son wears on his uniform every day. That makes me very happy," says Francisco Rodriguez.

"No player is better than the collective; no player is better than the effort of all 11 players on the field," they emphasize, highlighting the importance of collaboration and shared effort.

"Regardless of the sport they choose, accompany them in training and games. Sports keep children away from all the negative influences in life."
