Developing Leadership Skills

Over the past few weeks, the kindergarten students have been developing their leadership skills while practicing for their learning presentations and for the Math Show and Tell, which will take place next Tuesday, March 14 to celebrate Pi Day. In this opportunity, they will take advantage of this day to present the research of our integrated project: The Enchanted Forest. This is a space where students not only investigate about the plants, animals and climate of different types of Colombian forests, but also incorporate virtues of the school in the following way:

Respect for the forests.

2. Systemic thinking as a citizen taking into account my actions towards the forests.

3. Collaboration and cooperation in the care of water.

Kindness and service in planting trees.

5. Understanding where the fruits and water we consume come from in order to maintain our overall health.

6. A process of self-evaluation of my habits at home, which can have an impact on the forests.

  1. Respect for forests.

  2. Systemic thinking as a citizen taking into account my actions in relation to forests

  3. Collaboration and cooperation in water care.

  4. Friendliness and service in tree planting.

  5. Understand where the fruits and water we consume come from to maintain our overall health.

  6. A process of self-evaluation of my habits at home, which can have repercussions in the forests.
