In Term 8, students from 6th Grade developed another Integrated Project between Math and Physics. They used the Phet simulation platform to perform experiments in a simple circuit, increasing and decreasing the values of the voltage and the resistance, as well as analyzing what was happening with the current.
Subsequently, students created tables and graphs using Geogebra to illustrate the behavior of the 3 variables from the simulation and analyzed the interdependence between those variables.
The final product of the project was an amazing Magazine, showing the results of the simulations, the tables, the graphs, the behaviour of the variables and the theoretical analysis of a simple circuit.
With this Integrated Project, students were able to creatively learn once more how Physics and Math are connected by representing the changes in a simple circuit (a topic studied in Physics classes) with tables and graphs in Geogebra (a topic studied in Math classes). ¡Congratulations!

Resumen: Durante el Período 8, los alumnos de 6º Grado desarrollaron otro Proyecto Integrado entre Matemáticas y Física. Utilizaron la plataforma de simulación Phet para realizar experimentos en un circuito simple, aumentando y disminuyendo los valores del voltaje y la resistencia, así como analizando lo que ocurría con la corriente.
Posteriormente, los alumnos crearon tablas y gráficos utilizando Geogebra para ilustrar el comportamiento de las 3 variables de la simulación y analizaron la interdependencia entre dichas variables.
El producto final del proyecto fue una Revista sorprendente, que mostraba los resultados de las simulaciones, las tablas, los gráficos, el comportamiento de las variables y el análisis teórico de un circuito simple.
Con este Proyecto Integrado, los alumnos pudieron aprender de forma creativa una vez más cómo la Física y las Matemáticas están conectadas al representar los cambios en un circuito simple (un tema estudiado en las clases de Física) con tablas y gráficos en Geogebra (un tema estudiado en las clases de Matemáticas). ¡Enhorabuena!
