Analyzing Exercises with Self-Portraits

The transition children worked on the theme of the self-portrait, one of the most interesting analysis exercises that an artist can do, since it allows them to express emotions, explore the face and get to know themselves in detail.

This activity facilitated the construction of the self-image through self-representation, where by being able to look at themselves in a mirror, and draw their face step by step, they were able to reflect on how they are and what differences they have.

The observation of this type of creations allows us to focus attention on how the child draws his figure, the size of the self-portrait, its location on the paper and the force used in drawing it.

All the children had fun and learned a lot about the subject!
